Ring Placement Methods

• Tucked: Tuck the ring into the base of the menstrual disc, suitable for low to medium cervical heights and for those wishing to engage in intimate activities during menstruation
• Dropped: Allow the ring to hang naturally, suitable for high cervical heights or those who have difficulty grasping the ring
• Flipped: Pass the ring from the back through the top circular loop, suitable for medium cervical heights or those unsure of their cervical height
• Trimmed: Cut off the lower part of the ring, suitable for those with lower cervical heights or those who find the ring uncomfortable; however, it is not recommended to cut off the entire ring

Usage Process

Preparation:

• Before use, thoroughly disinfect your hands and the Hello Disc, for example by boiling it in water for 3 minutes or soaking it in Milton sterilizing tablets for 15 minutes

During menstruation:

• Pinch the Hello Disc into an 8 shape and slowly slide it into the vagina, ensuring the ring is the last part to enter; if you find that you have pushed the Hello Disc in too far, gently push the disc edge upward from below to secure it at the pubic bone edge. Don’t worry about pushing it too deep, the menstrual disc should sit at the end of the vagina.
• The Hello Disc is designed to be easily removed with just one finger; first, relax your pelvic muscles, then hook the ring with your index or middle finger and gently pull it out; if you can’t find the ring easily, try squatting or bending over, or use abdominal strength to help ease it out.
• The official recommendation is to not exceed 8 hours of use; the Hello Disc should be removed and emptied every 8 hours and rinsed with clean drinking water if circumstances allow; if not feasible, you can wipe it with a tissue and reinsert it.
• Using the Hello Disc may allow for automatic blood discharge during restroom use due to pelvic muscle pressure, and you do not need to remove the Hello Disc to complete the emptying process, which is something menstrual cups cannot do. However, it’s important to note that even with automatic emptying, you still need to remove and clean it every 8 hours to prevent infection. (The automatic discharge feature may not apply to everyone, and you may need to better understand your body structure and practice to achieve it.)

At the end of your period:

• Again, thoroughly disinfect the Hello Disc and store it in a dry, cool place, avoiding direct sunlight

Notes

• The Hello Disc can be used for up to 5 years under normal conditions
• The Hello Disc does not have contraceptive functions; the menstrual disc is not a contraceptive diaphragm and cannot prevent sexually transmitted infections
• Please use the correct cleaning and disinfection methods; it can be cleaned with Hello Wash or refer to the menstrual cup cleaning method; do not use corrosive cleaners or alcohol for disinfection
• Women who have had toxic shock syndrome (TSS) or are using an intrauterine contraceptive device or ring should consult and follow the advice of a doctor
• It is recommended to read the cleaning and usage guidelines attached to this product thoroughly before use
