Washing Method
- First rinse off the surface menstrual blood with cold water or directly with a shower head, then use a natural ingredient cleaner to gently rub until foamy, keeping it in a foamy state while soaking in cold water. It is also recommended to add a little baking soda or sodium percarbonate to enhance stain removal. When the blood stains are mostly gone, you can handwash or put it in a laundry bag in the washing machine for cleaning. (Note: Do not tumble dry at high temperatures, and do not use fabric softeners)
- In order to maintain the benefits of organic pure cotton suitable for sensitive skin, GladRags uses 100% organic pure cotton, undyed organic cotton, or organic that may accumulate pigments, but it is not dirty. If you are easily bothered by the “possible” residual colors and find them psychologically uncomfortable, it is recommended to purchase the black version, or consider other materials such as polyester fiber for menstrual products.
Notes
- Cloth products may have size discrepancies due to fabric cutting and sewing reasons
- Brown spots may appear on the organic cotton fabric, which is a natural phenomenon of the organic cotton plant’s stem and leaf structure, and will decrease with multiple washes
- To avoid fading and achieve better hygiene results, it is recommended to handwash separately
- Do not tumble dry or iron, as this will damage the product; avoid using bleach, fabric softeners, or other chemical cleaners and essential oils to prevent damage to the absorbent layer and related sensitivity issues
- Avoid vigorously scrubbing and wringing to prevent accelerated wear
- The usage of cloth sanitary pads is the same as regular sanitary pads, needing to be changed approximately every 2-6 hours to maintain hygiene
- All cloth products do not have adhesive functionality and are primarily fixed to underwear using buttons or other means, so there may be displacement when used with different underwear; it is recommended to wear snug-fitting underwear for better fixation
