GladRags are made from 100% organic cotton fabric, certified organic materials by GOTS (external flannel and internal terry cloth), and are therefore free from any chemical components or pesticide residues, making them friendlier to sensitive intimate skin.

Washing Method
- First rinse off the surface menstrual blood with cold water or directly under the shower, then use a natural ingredient cleaning agent to gently rub until it foams, keeping it in a soapy state while soaking in cold water. It is also recommended to add a bit of baking soda or sodium percarbonate to enhance stain removal. When the blood stains start to come off, you can take it out for hand washing or place it in a laundry bag to wash in the washing machine. (Note: Do not tumble dry on high heat and do not use fabric softeners)
- To maintain the organic cotton’s suitability for sensitive skin, GladRags uses 100% organic pure cotton that is undyed and has no organic pigment accumulation, but this does not mean it is dirty. If you are easily troubled by the “possible” residual colors causing psychological discomfort, it is recommended to purchase the black version or consider other materials like polyester for menstrual products.
Notes
- Fabric products may have size discrepancies due to fabric cutting and sewing processes
- Brown spots may appear on organic cotton fabric; this is a natural phenomenon of the stem and leaf tissue of organic cotton and will decrease with washing
- To avoid color fading and achieve better hygiene, it is recommended to wash separately by hand
- Do not tumble dry or iron, as this may damage the product; avoid using bleach, fabric softeners, and other chemical cleaners and essential oils to prevent damage to the absorbent layer and related sensitivity issues
- Avoid vigorous scrubbing and wringing out to prevent accelerated wear
- The use of cloth sanitary pads is similar to regular sanitary pads, needing to be replaced approximately every 2-6 hours to maintain hygiene
- All cloth products have no adhesive features and mainly rely on buttons or other means to be secured onto underwear, so using them with different types of underwear may lead to shifting. It is recommended to wear snugger underwear to help with fixing in place during use
