Washing Method
- First rinse off the surface menstrual blood with cold water or directly under the shower, then gently rub with a natural ingredient detergent until foamy, soaking in cold water while maintaining a foamy state. It is also recommended to add a little baking soda or sodium percarbonate to enhance stain removal. When the blood stains are mostly removed, it can be hand washed or placed in a laundry bag for machine washing. (Note: Do not tumble dry on high heat, do not use fabric softeners)
- To maintain the benefits of organic cotton suitable for sensitive skin, GladRags uses 100% organic cotton that is undyed; organic cotton may accumulate pigments, but it is not dirty. If you are easily concerned about “possibly” remaining colors causing psychological discomfort, it is recommended to purchase the black version, or consider other materials like polyfibers for menstrual products.
Notes
- Fabric products may have size discrepancies due to fabric cutting and sewing reasons
- Brown spots may appear on the organic cotton fabric; this is a natural phenomenon of organic cotton stem and leaf tissues, which will decrease with washing
- To avoid color fading and achieve better hygiene results, it is recommended to wash separately by hand
- Do not tumble dry or iron, as this will damage the product; avoid using bleach, fabric softeners, and other chemical cleaners and essential oils, as they may harm the absorbent layer and cause sensitivities
- Avoid strong scrubbing and wringing to prevent accelerated wear
- The usage of cloth sanitary pads is similar to regular sanitary pads, needing to be changed approximately every 2-6 hours to maintain hygiene
- All fabric products do not have adhesive capabilities, primarily relying on buttons or other methods to secure them to the underwear, so when using with different underwear, repositioning may occur; it is advisable to wear snug-fitting underwear to help secure them
